10ish weeks to go till our baby arrives!
This pregnancy has FLOWN by.
I've been realizing the many differences between a first pregnancy and a fourth...
While both are amazing and wonderful and totally miraculous, the first goes by slowly and the fourth rushes by.
During my first, I could have told you exactly how far along I was. On the fourth I often have to pull out the calendar to check, because I can't remember what week I'm on.
When I delivered my first, I thought I was the first person on the planet to ever have a child. And that the world should stop as I enjoyed my new baby. By the time you get to #4, you realize life goes on for everyone else and for you too.
With my first, my Dr. appointments were lengthy and detailed. With #4 I never ask questions. I'm in and out in minutes. (Literally.) I've got other stuff to do and there's no need for questions.
I'm a bit frightened about having four children. I'm trying to remind myself that it wasn't a big deal going from 2 to 3 and I've had two babies before, just as we will again.

Wow - so exciting... You will do wonderfully! And will come up with lots of strategies for handling four little ones as you need them. I agree that OB appointments were entirely different with number three! In and out. Enjoy your last weeks with three!!
